Portarlington is divided up into 2 Primary response areas:
Primary Areas
The first being the west side of Fisher Street out to the bay, and upto McAdams Lane. For fires and incidents in this area our neighboring brigade, Drysdale, is responded in addition to us for all emergency situations where life or property is threatened.
The second response area is all of Portarlington to the east of Fisher Street, through to the bay, and out to the intersection of Pigdon Street and The Esplanade, for fires and incidents in this area St. Leonards is responded in addition to us for all emergency situations where life or property is threatened.
In addition to our primary areas, we also provide secondary support to Drysdale and St. Leonards Fire Brigades in some of their primary areas when life or property is threatened.
